The following Rules were partly adopted from University Act of India. Rishikesh Nath Yogshala is accredited with Trust & Society Act of India, therefore its rules apply also for all students and employees at Rishikesh Nath Yogshala. Please note, that for breaching these rules, whether a student or an employee of Rishikesh Nath Yogshala, you will be subject to disciplinary action, including immediate termination of employment without any recourse (if employee) or cancellation of admission without any recourse (if student). Further legal action or criminal prosecution may be brought against you if necessary.
Candidates seeking admission to the various courses offered at Rishikesh Nath Yogshala may note that as per the Supreme Court Order dated : 13-08-1997, any violence or Sexual harassment of Women at workplace is a cognitive offence and indulgence in such activities shall render them liable for punishment and cancellation of their admission. Rishikesh Nath Yogshala extends these rules to cover any place on its property or anywhere when representing Rishikesh Nath Yogshala as a student or an employee.
Candidates and employees shall note that Rishikesh Nath Yogshala is non-political, respects all faiths and religions, nationalities, ethnic and cultural customs and practices, does not differentiate between casts, and does not endorse any ideaology. Any behaviour of students or employees contrary of our tenets of neutrality, respect and tolerance shall be subject to disciplinary action, including investigation by the appropriate authorities.
Candidates shall give an undertaking on their admission documentation to abide by the rules of Conduct and Discipline prescribed herein and in the Explanatory note which reads as follows:
“Any form of intimidation, wrongful confinement or causing physical harm or injury, or any form of annoyance by playing vulgar jokes or using abusive language directed toward any ethnic community, religion or faith, under any circumstances, including under the pretext of conducting initiation ceremony of the Junior Students by the Seniors or by section/group of students against any individual or group of students, will be considered ragging”.
Disciplinary action will be taken against the students found causing damage to Rishikesh Nath Yogshala’s property as well as the surrounding properties if such damage can be traced to Rishikesh Nath Yogshala’s students. The cost of damages will be recovered from the students individually and collectively in addition to the penalty as decided by the management.
The management shall not be responsible for the untoward deeds of the students outside the premises of the Rishikesh Nath Yogshala property other than as specified above.
All disputes are subject to Rishikesh Jurisdiction only.
Students are advised to carefully read and reconfirm and understand the details of admission and behavioral conduct, type of schools and offered courses, our teaching philosophies and admission promotion/advertisement before deciding on the admission.
Students shall strictly abide by the Rules and Regulations presented by Rishikesh Nath Yogshala. These Rules and Regulations are subject to revisions from time to time, and Students and/or Parents/Guardian are obliged to follow and be aware of such changes.
The admission once made, is final and can not be changed. Premature withdrawal from the course will be permitted only after payment of fees for the entire course.
Fee of any kind once paid, is not refundable (Full or Partial) under any circumstances.
Parents/Guardian are advised to enquire about the progress of their child/ward periodically.
Management reserves the rights to approve the admission of the student to any of the courses/streams.
Allotment of the streams is subject to availability of seats in different streams/category, and the percentage in the qualifying examinations as decided by the management (applicable to Courses of more than 100 Hours of study).
Students should attend all theory and practical classes regularly. Before a Student is allowed to appear for the examination, he/she should have been present for at least 90% of the training period, otherwise he/she will be liable to pay the tuition fee for the same course once again.
It is mandatory for the Student to appear for the examination. Re-examination will be conducted with in a week for those Students who have failed in examination. Students failing in re-examination also, will be given one more chance of attending the exam in 15 days. In case of failing on the third exam students will be liable to pay the course fee for the same course once again. Other then the first exam other exams can be attended online or offline as per the preferences of students.
To be declared successful in the course, the Student must obtain a minimum marks of 50% in final exam.
Other rules and regulations are also needs to be followed which are shared with the students at the time of Opening Ceremony of the course.
